Job summary

ChaseSource, LP is seeking a Part-Time Event Technology Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for conferences, meetings, webinars, and live productions in a fast-paced event environment.

The role involves AV setup, hybrid meeting support on Teams/Zoom/Webex, and real-time troubleshooting. Flexible scheduling includes evenings and weekends, with approximately 25–30 hours per week. Strong customer service and calm under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of experience supporting audio-visual equipment or live events.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up, connect, configure, and test AV equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, displays, video conferencing systems, and lighting.
• Support virtual and hybrid meetings using Teams, Zoom, and Webex.
• Load, format, test, and troubleshoot presentations, videos, and other digital content.
• Perform pre-event technical checks to ensure equipment and systems are ready for use.
• Monitor audio, video, presentation, and streaming systems during live events.
• Operate technical equipment and provide real-time support to presenters, speakers, and event participants.
• Manage virtual event features including chat, audience polling, breakout rooms, and Q&A sessions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during live events and quickly implement solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Assist with transporting, setting up, breaking down, cleaning, organizing, and storing event technology equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory of cables, adapters, microphones, accessories, and other technology equipment.
