Job summary

Everest in New Jersey seeks an experienced Event Support Specialist to ensure flawless hybrid and in-person events. You will set up and operate A/V gear, manage conferencing systems, and support virtual platforms such as Teams, Webex, and Zoom.

Ideal candidates have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple events with professionalism. This role may require early hours or special scheduling for events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event support or A/V technical roles, preferably in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for internal and external meetings, conferences, and corporate events.
• Set up, test, and operate audio/visual equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, video walls, and conferencing systems.
• Support and troubleshoot virtual meeting platforms including Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom, and others.
• Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Event Planning teams to ensure all technical aspects of events are covered.
• Maintain and manage inventory of A/V equipment and supplies.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting during live events to ensure minimal disruption.
• Assist with recording, streaming, and post-event media management.
• Train and guide Everest employees on best practices for using meeting technologies.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements.
