Job summary

Encore Global seeks a Technical Specialist to lead the technical setup and operation of mid-level production events in a hospitality environment, ensuring client satisfaction. This role reports to an Associate Director or Director of Project Management in the assigned area.

Responsibilities include advanced AV setup, troubleshooting, customer service, training staff, and equipment maintenance. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and 3+ years in event technology with audio/lighting/projection/video

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of event technology experience with specialty in Audio, Lighting, Projection, or Video.
• 3-4 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training/certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Maintain safety and security of equipment.
• Provide excellent service and build strong client relationships.
• Mentor and coach team members to develop technical skills.
