Job summary

Encore Global seeks a Technical Lead to set up and operate mid- to large-scale audiovisual systems in a hotel environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. The role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2–3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 2–3+ years of audio-visual experience required.
• Driver’s license required for roles potentially operating company vehicles.
• Must meet internal/technical training and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown intermediate audiovisual equipment accurately and timely.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Ensure equipment security and comply with safety measures.
• Provide excellent service and exceed guest expectations.
• Lead, mentor, and coach other Technicians.
• Engage with clients on site to ensure needs are met and setup works correctly.
• Collaborate with hotel staff and vendors; manage equipment inventories.
