Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant for our Culpeper, VA office. You’ll greet patients, review health histories, take and process x-rays, and provide four-handed chairside support to our dentists while ensuring safety and high-quality patient care.

The role uses Dentrix for scheduling/records, and involves preparing rooms, managing supplies, and collaborating with the team to optimize office workflow.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
