Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is partnering with Associated Dental Care Providers-Bell to recruit a Dental Assistant. The role supports dentists with four-handed dentistry, takes X-rays, and helps manage the front and back office to keep patient comfort high.

Scheduled hours include Tue 8:45am-6:00pm, Wed/Thu/Fri 7:40am-5:00pm, and occasional Mondays for oral surgery days. We value attention to detail, empathy, and strong communication, with opportunities for growth within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience.
• Arizona Radiation Health & Safety (RHS) certificate is required.
• Dentrix or other dental software experience.
• Attention to detail, empathy, strong communication, and being outgoing.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and support them throughout treatment.
• Conduct health history reviews to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance during procedures in accordance with state law.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
