Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. You will work closely with clinicians, assist during a variety of procedures, take and manage imaging, and help maintain a smooth office workflow using Dentrix.

The role emphasizes patient education, data privacy, and teamwork within a supported network across 3,000 doctors in 39 states. Experience with dental software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiar with dental procedures and terminology.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguards understanding.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Schedule and maintain records in Dentrix.
