Job summary

Trail Ridge Dental Care, part of Heartland Dental, seeks a Dental Assistant to join the team. You will greet patients, review health histories, take X-rays, and provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists. You’ll use Dentrix for scheduling and records, and prepare rooms following OSHA/CDC guidelines.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and collaboration with the Heartland Dental network. Experience in a dental setting and relevant certifications are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with dental procedures and terminology
• Fast-paced, customer-centric environment experience
• State-required dental assistant and/or x-ray certifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and educate throughout treatment
• Review health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records
• Prepare treatment rooms per safety protocols
• Manage supplies and place orders
• Collaborate to maximize office workflow
