Heartland Dental's Prosper, TX office is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a new, state-of-the-art practice. You will greet patients, review histories, and provide chairside support with four-handed dentistry.

Proficiency with Dentrix and completing x-ray duties are required. Ideal candidates hold dental assistant (and x-ray) certification, excel in fast-paced, customer-centric settings, and are committed to HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Certified dental assistant with knowledge of common procedures and terminology.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to educate patients.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients at check-in; ensure patient comfort throughout treatment.
• Review health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and related imaging (iTero 3D, digital).
• Provide four-handed, chairside support to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records; adhere to safety protocols.
• Prepare treatment rooms and manage supplies and orders.
• Collaborate with providers to improve office workflow.
