Qualifications

• 3+ years dental assisting experience preferred.
• X-ray certification required in MI, if applicable under state law.
• Proficiency with dental software and imaging tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, and educate patients throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
• Provide chair-side assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures while following state practice act.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
