Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Hotel Food & Beverage and Banquet Operations; manage team and guest relations.
• Prepare resumes for groups and review details in weekly meetings.
• Adhere to Catering and Conference Services SOPs.
• Promptly handle all steps in event planning and execution processes.
• Proactively establish rapport with clients and be visible during conferences to meet expectations.
• Conduct pre-conference meetings as needed.
• Coordinate with banquet managers for related functions and relay client requests.
• Conduct planning meetings and site inspections.
• Work with banquet department on event execution and evaluating alternatives.
• Prepare banquet event orders and group resumes.
• Set a positive example for guest relations.
• Respond to guest problems and complaints.
• Ensure BEOs are accurate and shared with all departments.
• Be aware of revenue opportunities and upsell where possible.
• Manage room blocks efficiently.
• Coordinate all aspects of convention services and establish client relationships.
