Valley National Bank in Jericho, NY is seeking a banking professional to drive business development, acquire new clients, and expand relationships with existing clients. You will respond to referrals from senior management and the branch network, build COI sources, and service portfolios while cross-selling bank products.

The role includes negotiating lending terms, preparing credit packages for approval, maintaining current financial data, monitoring credit quality, and leading the loan closing

Responsabilidades

• Business development with a focus on acquisition of new clients and expanding relationships with existing clients.
• Respond quickly and effectively on all new business referrals from Senior Management, the branch network or other areas of the bank.
• Develop network of external referral sources/centers of influence (COI's) to attract new clients.
• Maintain, grow and service assigned portfolios and cross-sell other bank products; drive profitability, quality and growth.
• Negotiate terms of lending agreements and prepare packages for credit approval; present to credit authority.
• Ensure current financial information is analyzed and on file; monitor and report changes in credit quality.
• Oversee loan closing process and ensure documents reflect agreed terms and signatures.
