Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality seeks a Catering Manager on property in Florida to drive revenue through proactive sales, upselling, and superior service. You will be the local sales contact, coordinate with the Convention Services team, and lead efforts to meet and exceed revenue goals while maintaining guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong negotiation, relationship management, and knowledge of hotel operations to deliver exceptional events and maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive sales experience.
• Hospitality industry experience preferred; luxury brands & experiential services.
• Must be able to 'Knock on doors' to win business.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and handle revenue opportunities to maximize hotel revenue.
• Upsell products and services throughout the sales process.
• Build and manage relationships with existing and new customers.
• Conduct customer site inspections and prepare sales contracts.
• Forecast group sleeping rooms and revenue; align turnover with service delivery.
