Job summary

Finney Hospitality Group is seeking a detail-oriented Catering & Event Coordinator to execute and coordinate booked catering orders and events. You’ll collaborate with Catering Sales Managers, restaurant teams, and clients to ensure on-time deliveries, proper event setup, and seamless execution from start to finish.

The role requires strong organization, dependability, and excellent communication, with a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, catering, hospitality, event, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of confirmed catering orders, group events, and special events.
• Review event details, timelines, menus, guest counts, special requests, and service expectations before execution.
• Create and follow event preparation plans, checklists, and timelines.
• Coordinate with restaurant teams to ensure food, supplies, equipment, and other event needs are ready on time.
• Verify orders for accuracy and completeness before pickup, delivery, or event setup.
• Communicate changes or operational needs to appropriate team members.
• Pickup and deliver catering orders to client locations as needed.
• Set up food displays, serving areas, tables, signage, and other event materials.
• Monitor events on-site to ensure service standards and client satisfaction.
• Assist with breakdown, cleanup, and return of equipment after events.
• Serve as a professional FHG representative during deliveries and on-site events.
• Provide post-event feedback to catering team and communicate improvements.
