Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Before and After School Leader in Denver, CO. Assist the program director to plan and implement a high-quality child care program and to foster strong community relations among school clients.

You will support daily operations, help develop lesson plans, ensure safety, and coordinate enrichment activities and field trips, while promoting the program to families. This role emphasizes supervision, licensing adherence, and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• Must be age 18 or over
• Experience working with children or supervising youth
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Ability to develop and follow licensed program guidelines
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Follows and enforces Colorado licensing requirements; Daily duties 15% time
• Supervises students during program hours; daily engagement 15%
• Maintains safe conditions for students and staff; daily 10%
• Promotes the before/after school program and full-day programming; daily 5%
• Attends professional development trainings as required; daily 5%
• Assists in implementing quality lesson plans; monthly 15%
• Assists with developing and organizing enrichment activities and field trips; monthly 5%
• Supports equipment maintenance and proper storage; monthly 5%
• Contributes ideas for program enrichment and quality; monthly 5%
• Participates in monthly staff meetings; monthly 5%
• Performs other duties as assigned; daily 5%
• Attend and participate in staff meetings as required by director; Monthly Percentages and time noted above
