Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will ensure flawless event execution, client satisfaction, and accurate paperwork.

You will troubleshoot gear and software, interact with guests on-site, and coordinate with staff to deliver top-tier service. A valid license, lifting ability, and 50-lb capacity are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Training and certifications must be completed within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet Encore’s certification requirements via the Learning Program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who operate company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment.
• Exceeds guest expectations and maintains positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues as they arise.
• Records orders and coordinates with staff and vendors.
• Finalizes invoices with clients and conducts accurate paperwork.
