Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an on-site Technician to set up, operate, and tear down basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will ensure guest satisfaction, meet with clients on location, and troubleshoot equipment and software issues to keep events running smoothly.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate’s preferred), 1 year of AV or hospitality experience, and a valid driver’s license. Training and certifications must be completed within 60 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet training and certification within 60 days; see career path.
• Internal applicants must meet Encore’s certification requirements per Training Program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in educational environments preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure equipment works properly and needs are met.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately; coordinate with staff and vendors.
