Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to lead with energy and purpose, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales and coaching the team. You will manage daily store operations, mentor staff, and ensure a great customer experience on the floor.

As a hands-on leader, you will embody the "Always on, Never no" mindset, take ownership of issues, and leverage retail technology to enhance store execution and results.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions to customer interactions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping the team close the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Move with purpose to keep the store organized and customer ready.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers, teammates, and product.
• Take ownership of store execution and use retail tech to enhance customer experience.
