Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to help lead a Foot Locker store with energy, ownership, and a customer-first mindset. You will support the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, and ensuring daily store operations run smoothly.

You will act as Manager on Duty when scheduled, assist with hiring and training, and coach teammates to close performance gaps while maintaining high standards and a positive store environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with an energetic mindset and customer-focused solutions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service, share product knowledge, and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping the team close the loop with customers.
• Assist in opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage to ensure smooth store operations.
• Take ownership of store execution and leverage retail tools to improve the customer experience.
