Job summary

Foot Locker seeks an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to lead with energy, ownership, and purpose, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, and keeping the store running strong day in and day out.

ASMs are hands-on leaders who stay connected to customers and teammates, embodying an Always on, Never no mindset to set the floor tone and own store execution while leveraging retail technology and digital tools to enhance operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with an “Always on, Never no” mindset; bring energy, confidence, and solutions to every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service, share product knowledge, and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping the team close the loop with customers.
