Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead with energy, ownership, and purpose, supporting the Store Manager to drive sales and coach a diverse team. You will be a hands-on leader who stays connected to customers and teammates, delivering a great shopper experience on the floor.

As an ASM, you move with urgency, set the tone on the floor, and take ownership of store execution while leveraging retail technology to assist staff and optimize operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience & Sales: Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions.
• Store Ops & Execution: Manage daily store operations, maintain organization, and follow SOPs.
• Teamwork & Leadership: Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled and coach team members.
