Job summary

Raising Cane's in the United States is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Leader to support daily operations, uphold standards, and drive team performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage onboarding, payroll for hourly crewmembers, schedules, and performance coaching while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies. This role requires flexibility across shifts and locales, with potential for growth as the brand expands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license
• Detail-oriented, organized with strong communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly
• Able to work shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
• New restaurant opening experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations
• Uphold Raising Cane's standards and culture
• Open and close the restaurant as manager on duty
• Manage cash handling and ensure accountability
• Hire and terminate hourly crewmembers
• Onboard, change status, and payroll for hourly staff
• Create crewmember work and training schedules
• Coach and document performance of crewmembers
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness and safety standards
• Provide exemplary customer service
