Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist I to support the payables process and general accounting tasks. Under general supervision, you will assist Motion Finance team, vendors, and internal departments with invoice verification, voucher processing, and vendor setup activities.

Responsibilities include maintaining vendor records across ERP systems, validating banking details for payments, and guiding external customers on electronic invoicing and payments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of related experience preferred or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Handle payables process and support Motion Finance team and branches.
• Review and verify vendor invoices and payment requests for accuracy.
• Process vouchers for payment using multiple accounting systems.
• Verify new vendor setups and maintain vendor master records in ERP systems.
• Review vendor banking information for ACH/wire setup and ensure payments meet policies.
• Assist external customers with electronic invoicing and payments.
