Shield HealthCare in Durham, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers with telephone orders, enter orders, and support walk-in customers in a full-time on-site role. The position runs Monday through Friday with no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities include handling orders, processing authorizations, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and upselling/cross-selling to meet needs. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred in a cordial, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service experience.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls/faxes and take orders from physicians, referral sources, and customers.
• Enter orders into computer system in timely manner.
• Attend to walk in customers.
• Process authorizations and support documentation.
• Process support and sales incidents to maintain customer satisfaction levels.
• Resolve customer complaints.
• Upsell and cross-sell to meet customer needs
