Job summary

Four Seasons Maui is seeking a Duo Assistant Manager to lead the Food & Beverage team with exceptional guest care and operational excellence. You will organize, direct, and supervise daily activities to deliver a luxury experience while maintaining brand standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of supervisory experience in F&B, knowledge of service, cost and labor controls, and comfort with restaurant computer systems. Hawaii Food Handler Card and Maui Liquor Card are required.

Qualifications

• One to two years previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
• Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Hawaii Food Handler Card
• Maui Liquor Card
• ServSafe (within 3 months)
• Tuberculosis Clearance

Responsibilities

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation.
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits and ensure quality of all food or beverage items, ingredients, and preparation methods, in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience while following and maintaining all local, state, and federal laws relating to alcohol service and consumption.
