Job summary

The Four Seasons Maui at Wailea is seeking a Duo PM Assistant Manager to plan, organize, and direct the work of colleagues in our Lobby Lounge, ensuring guest satisfaction. This position sits within the Food & Beverage division and reports to the Duo Manager; applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

You will lead and develop staff, uphold culture and standards, and apply wine and spirits expertise to deliver an elegant, compliant service experience consistent with Four Seasons

Qualifications

• One to two years experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in Food & Beverage.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost and labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and food & beverage software systems.
• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Hawaii Food Handler Card.
• Maui Liquor Card.
• ServSafe certification within 3 months.
• Tuberculosis Clearance.

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to meet standards; daily activities and planning for outlet operation.
• Be visible in the operation, recognize staff, handle guest complaints and special requests.

Duo PM Assistant Manager

Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Hotel’s Lobby Lounge while ensuring guest satisfaction. This role is part of the Food & Beverage Division, reporting to the Duo Manager. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation.


• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.


• Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits and ensure quality of all food or beverage items, ingredients, and preparation methods, in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience while following and maintaining all local, state, and federal laws relating to alcohol service and consumption.

What You Will Bring

• One to two years previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage.


• Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.


• Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.


• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.


• Hawaii Food Handler Card


• Maui Liquor Card


• ServSafe (within 3 months)


• Tuberculosis Clearance
