Job summary

Four Seasons Maui is seeking an Assistant Guest Services Manager to direct all guest services activities within the Rooms Division, reporting to the Guest Services Manager. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

You will lead a team to ensure exceptional hospitality, handle guest requests, and maintain high standards of service across front desk and concierge operations, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Two years of hotel management experience, preferably in the front office.
• Working knowledge of the Front Desk and Concierge services and general hotel operations.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system.
• The Ability to read and speak English.
• Valid Driver's License and clean abstract
• Must be able to drive both automatic and standard vehicles

Responsibilities

• Manages the staff at the Guest Services. Directs all activities of the Asst. Guest Services to ensure communications and follow-up on any problems, guest requests or special requirements. Interviews, trains and schedules the staff. Conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed.
• Reviews and monitors schedules of staff within the department. Monitors their activities to assure that standards are being met, staff is being supported and guest needs are being met.
• Resolves customer complaints and handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
