Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a General Manager for two Mount Pleasant, MI properties. You will lead staff development, financial performance, and resident experience in a fast-paced student-living environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing living communities and a team of 3+.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Time management and prioritization.
• Confidentiality and discretion.
• Customer-centric mindset.
• Proficient in Property Management Systems (Entrata preferred).

Responsibilities

• Staff development and leadership across the property team.
• Coordinate staffing and after-hours on-call response.
• Elevate employee experience through data and team-building.
• Manage market, policy, safety and onsite emergencies with partners.
• Oversee vendor management, risk and contract administration.
• Lead annual turnover planning and budget alignment.
• Drive customer experience and revenue targets at the property.
