The role supports students pursuing certificates, degrees, and career credentials, and works with internal and external partners to promote student success and monitor progress.

• Experience in education, counseling or related field with high school/college students.
• Strong communication, organizational and collaborative skills with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, Canva, Zoom and student information systems.
• Ability to develop partnerships and design programs for high school students; work independently.
• Community college experience preferred.

The Dual Enrollment Coordinator develops and strengthens dual enrollment programs within an assigned territory at Northern Virginia Community College in Loudoun County, building partnerships with high schools and community organizations. The role involves delivering presentations to stakeholders, maintaining and expanding dual enrollment offerings, and providing guidance and support to students pursuing certificates, associate degrees, and career credentials. The coordinator works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure student success and analyze program progress.

Key qualifications:

• Knowledge of dual enrollment programs, college opportunities, and college admissions processes
• Experience working in education, counseling, or a related field and directly with students in high school or college environments
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills with ability to work with diverse populations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva, Zoom, and student information systems
• Ability to develop partnerships, design programs for high school students, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in a community college setting (preferred)
