Job summary

All’s Well, Inc. seeks a DSP Intern through a paid 3-month shadow training program in California. You will shadow a DSP mentor for up to 30 hours per week, with potential for permanent employment, sometimes as early as week three.

This hands-on experience supports adults with developmental needs while you learn to promote independence and community participation. Typical duties include helping individuals feel empowered, supporting daily living activities, and facilitating access to services and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) or a Certificate of Completion.
• Must have a valid Identification Card or Driver’s License.
• Must pass a background check and other required health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals feel empowered and respected.
• Support communication and social interaction.
• Assist with daily living skills (e.g. cooking, hygiene, transportation).
• Encourage and support participation in community activities.
• Facilitate access to services and resources.
• Support education, job readiness, and career goals.

• Help build and maintain meaningful relationships.
