Job summary

Alls Well in California announces a 3-month paid shadow training internship for Direct Service Professional (DSP) roles. Interns work under a DSP mentor for up to 30 hours weekly, shadowing and learning to support adults with diverse developmental needs.

Responsibilities include empowerment, communication support, daily living skills, and documenting progress. Potential conversion to permanent employment after a few weeks with weekly pay and incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a background check and health screenings.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license held for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living skills and independence.
• Support communication, social interaction, and community participation.
• Document services and progress; advocate for individual rights and inclusion.
