Job summary

All’s Well Healthcare offers a statewide, paid 3-month shadow training program with DDS in California, pairing candidates with organizations serving adults with developmental disabilities. Interns shadow staff under a DSP mentor for up to 30 hours/week, with a path to permanent roles—sometimes as early as week three.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) or a Certificate of Completion.
• Must have a valid Identification Card or Driver’s License.
• Must pass a background check and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Shadow a DSP mentor and assist with daily living skills.
• Support communication and social interaction.
• Encourage participation in community activities.
• Assist with cooking, hygiene, transportation, and routine tasks.
• Document services and progress for clients.
