Job summary

InReach is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Independent Contractor) to support an adult male with developmental disabilities in Mint Hill, NC. You will provide in-home assistance, transportation, and community integration, working six hours weekly on Saturdays.

Responsibilities include medication dispensing, assisting with daily living activities, and helping the individual build social roles. A high school diploma, driver’s license, and background checks are required; 1099 contracting is

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required
• Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check
• One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred

We Need:

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for an Adult Male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in Mint Hill, NC in the Mecklenburg County. Staff will provide Respite Services for 6 hours a week on Saturday's.

Schedule:

Saturday (any 6 hours) Flexible

Pay Rate:

$16.07/hr.

*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
