Job summary

InReach in Waxhaw, NC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) as an Independent Contractor to support a young male individual with developmental disabilities in his home and community. You will provide living support, help develop social roles, facilitate community integration, and monitor medications and dosages, with shifts Saturdays and Sundays.

This role is paid as a 1099 contractor at $20.35 per hour, with 24 hours of work every other weekend and flexible scheduling; requires HS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years experience with I/DD population preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and pass drug screen and background check.

We Need:

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a young male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Union County area of Waxhaw, NC. Staff will provide Community Living and Support Services with approx 24 hours every other weekend. This is a Saturday and Sunday position for every other weekend. Staff will perform all services in the home

Must be able to handle challenging behaviors

Schedule:

Saturday and Sunday (8am to 8pm) or flexibility in shift; will be able to split with (8am to 2pm) or (2pm to 8pm) schedule

Pay Rate:

• CLS Services at $20.35/hr

• All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.
• *** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
