Job summary

InReach seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Waxhaw, NC. This Independent Contractor position provides companionship, care, and support for a young male with Developmental Disabilities, approx 24 hours every other weekend (Sat-Sun). Schedule options include 8am–8pm or split shifts (8am–2pm / 2pm–8pm).

Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and pass a drug screen and background check. Prior I/DD experience is preferred.

We Need

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a young male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Union County area of Waxhaw, NC. Staff will provide Community Living and Support Services with approx 24 hours every other weekend. This is a Saturday and Sunday position for every other weekend. Staff will perform all services in the home

**Must be able to handle challenging behaviors

Schedule

Saturday and Sunday (8am to 8pm) or flexibility in shift; will be able to split with (8am to 2pm) or (2pm to 8pm) schedule

Pay Rate

CLS Services at $20.35/hr

*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
