Job summary

InReach is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Indian Trail, NC 28079 to provide companionship, care, and support for a young male with developmental disabilities. This is an Independent Contractor role with about 15 hours per week, typically 5pm–8pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include in-home living assistance, community integration, transport to activities, and medication monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Drug screen and background check required.
• 1–2 years of experience with I/DD population preferred.

We Need:

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a young male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in Indian Trail, NC 28079 of Union County. Staff will provide Community Living and Support Services for approx 15 hours per week. *Potential for additional hours during non-school weeks*

Schedule:

Monday thru Friday (5pm to 8pm)

Pay Rate:

$20.35/hr.

All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
