This full-time role leads the DSD and warehouse sales strategy and execution, growing existing accounts and opening new business across grocery, c-store, and wholesale channels. The position requires building a disciplined sales culture focused on accountability and results, with heavy field leadership and collaboration with production to forecast demand.

Qualifications

• Proven sales leadership experience, preferably within a DSD organization.
• Experience in food, beverage, grocery, convenience store, distribution, or consumer packaged goods.
• Experience managing and developing sales representatives.
• Strong understanding of route sales, retail execution, merchandising, territory development, and customer retention.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth strategy for the DSD business.
• Lead and coach the DSD sales team for performance and in-store results.
• Regularly ride routes with sales reps to identify opportunities.
• Grow sales within grocery, convenience-store, independent retail, and meat-market accounts.
• Identify and pursue new warehouse and wholesale accounts.
• Build programs that encourage repeat purchases and improve margins.
• Establish clear route goals, sales scorecards, call expectations, and performance standards.
