Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Direct Store Delivery Warehouse Lead in Pineville, NC to support the sales management team and ensure efficient DC operations. The role manages daily warehouse duties and coordinates route delivery to customers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehousing, experience with ERP systems (D365), and demonstrates leadership, strong organizational skills, and reliable communication. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a DSD DC.
• Experience using ERP systems such as D365 is highly preferred.
• Experience leading and directing others is preferred.
• Requires organization and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory and rotation.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; requires basic math skills.
• Requires independent decision making on inventory needs, especially during promotional activity.
• Must be able to fill in and cover open routes; operate a route sales delivery vehicle safely.
• Must be able to drive a forklift and/or use a hand jack as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the DSD DC.
• Assigns daily tasks to the DSD Warehouse staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assists with training new DSD warehouse team members.
• Orders inventory; receives, stores, loads, and ensures accurate product handling.
• Unloads trailers and checks trailer loads for accuracy.
• Balances daily inventory using handheld devices.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and restrooms.
• Leads month-end inventory counts and reports discrepancies to the Head of DSD Ops.
• Covers open routes and delivers products to customers; merchandises authorized products.
