Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. Wakefield facility is seeking an attentive Dryer Packager responsible for packaging, sealing and labeling finished products, and maintaining cleanliness of dryer areas. You will follow batch records, perform inspections, and support safety and quality programs during shifts.

Ideal candidates bring manufacturing experience, basic math and English literacy, forklift certification, and ability to work weekends or overtime as needed. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Reads and interprets safety rules and manuals in English.
• Able to add/subtract two-digit numbers and work with money units.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation of dryer areas and follow master sanitation schedules.
• Verify weights of finished products and ensure proper packaging, sealing, labeling and stacking.
• Read batch records and follow SAP reports and procedures.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and adhere to safety policies.
