Job summary

You will support sanitation schedules, perform pre-operational checks, read POs, follow SAP reporting, and collaborate with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment. Weekend, holiday and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or education required.
• Preferred: manufacturing experience.
• Must obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and procedure manuals.
• Basic math and arithmetic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall equipment cleanliness and sanitation of dryer areas.
• Accountable for sanitation schedules for dryer areas.
• Verify final weights of finished products.
• Package, seal, label and stack finished products.
• Read and comprehend batch records for solids and recon used and batch sequencing.
• Performs pre-operational inspections.
• Knows and understands the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) target for the product being produced and what it means.
• Document verification by supervisor at shift end.
• Performs hourly case weight checks and corrective actions/notifications.
• Advanced mechanical troubleshooting with maintenance personnel.
• Follows start up and shutdown procedures.
• Monitors packaging crew for quality and notifies deficiencies.
• Reads POs and follows SAP report procedures.
• Performs metal detector checks at required frequencies.
• Effective shift hand-off communication.
• Follows SOPs and GMPs; maintains sanitary conditions.
• Adheres to safety policies; ensures safe workplace.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Ensures regulatory compliance at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
