Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a production operator to run and monitor machinery in our dry mix plant. You will read specifications, set adjustments, and ensure materials meet daily production needs while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Prior related experience or a high school diploma/GED is acceptable. CRH offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience
• Ability to read safety rules and operation/maintenance manuals
• Self-starter who can work independently
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with various units
• Read, understand and apply written/oral instructions

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery in the dry mix plant
• Read job specs to determine adjustments and quantities
• Observe dryer operation and adjust to maintain parameters
• Fill material bins to meet daily production schedules
• Receive bulk truckloads of aggregates from outside carriers
• Perform routine machinery maintenance
• Start up machinery for daily production
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Perform additional duties as needed
