Job summary

CRH is seeking a Production Operator for our dry mix plant to run production machinery and support daily operations. You will read specifications, adjust equipment, monitor dryers, and ensure material flow aligns with the production schedule.

Responsibilities include feeding bins, receiving aggregates, and performing routine maintenance while maintaining clean, safe work areas. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating manuals.
• Able to work independently as a self-starter.
• Perform basic arithmetic for measurements and conversions.
• Maintain accuracy in all tasks and follow written instructions.
• Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery per job specifications.
• Observe, adjust and maintain dryer operation within set parameters.
• Fill material bins to meet daily production schedules.
• Receive bulk aggregates from outside carriers.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and start-up daily.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
