Job summary

Oldcastle APG, Inc. is seeking a production operator to run and monitor machinery in our dry mix plant. You will read specifications, adjust equipment, and ensure materials meet daily production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires physically demanding work, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a flexible schedule that may include weekends. Prior experience in a plant environment is preferred, with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Must maintain accuracy in all duties and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
• Frequent standing and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery in the dry mix plant as required.
• Monitor dryer operation and adjust parameters to meet specifications.
• Fill material bins to support daily production schedules.
• Accept bulk truckloads of aggregates from outside carriers.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and start up machinery for daily production.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas; support housekeeping standards.
• Contribute to other duties as needed in a manufacturing setting.
