Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a Production Operator to run and monitor machinery in our dry mix plant. You will read specifications, adjust equipment, load materials, and maintain daily production schedules on-site in Burnet, TX.

Responsibilities include startup, maintenance, and ensuring a clean, safe work area. The role requires a HS diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), the ability to interpret manuals, and the physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs; stand for long periods; lift, push and pull.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Observe dryer operation and adjust to maintain set parameters.
• Fill material bins as needed to meet daily production schedules.
• Receive bulk truckloads of aggregates from outside carriers.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Startup machinery for daily production.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
