Job summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking a Merchandise Operations Specialist to support daily operational functions in the buying area, ensuring timely merchandise delivery through vendor, DC, and buying team coordination. The role focuses on Drop Ship, owning related tasks and business needs.

You will liaise with distribution, vendors, production, buying, planning, and allocation to optimize inventory, GTIN management, and SKU quality while working with web ops for accurate product info.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Analytical mindset with ability to understand how multiple systems interact.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace.
• Strong time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Detail oriented with focus on accuracy in inventory.

Responsibilities

• Process PO entry and revisions.
• Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through tracking receipts.
• Maintain SKUs; manage backorders and pre-orders.
• Coordinate DC communication and follow-up with planning/allocations.
• Manage receipts with OTB availability; adjust orders with planning.
