Job summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking a Merchandise Operations Specialist to support daily operational functions within the buying area, ensuring timely delivery of merchandise through consistent communication with vendors, the distribution center and the buying team. This role focuses on the Drop Ship area where the Specialist will own and manage these tasks and business needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and analytical mindset.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Detail oriented with accuracy in data and processes.
• Experience with retail inventory software is a plus.
• Customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter and revise purchase orders.
• Track timely delivery and receipts.
• Maintain SKU data and backorder management.
• Manage RTVs, retrofits, price changes with Planning/Allocation.
• Coordinate with DC, vendors, and Buying teams.
• Ensure DSCO/Rithum-driven Drop Ship processes run smoothly.
• Oversee vendor onboarding and resolve customer/order issues.
• Collaborate with Buying/Planning/Allocation for program goals.
