Job summary

URBN is seeking a Merchandise Operations Specialist to support daily buying-area operations, ensure timely merchandise delivery through proactive vendor and DC communication, and build cross-functional relationships with production, planning, and allocation teams. The role includes leading Drop Ship activities and owning related tasks.

You'll handle DSCO/Rithum-based Drop Ship processes, create and maintain DS shipments, monitor cost changes and vendor onboarding, coordinate with Accounts

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace programs.
• Excellent Time Management skills.
• High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Prior retail experience or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• PO entry and revisions.
• Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through tracking and monitoring receipts.
• SKU Maintenance.
• Backorder and pre-order management.
• DC communication and follow-up.
• Manage and execute RTVs, Retickets, Price Changes, etc. in coordination with Planning and Allocation teams.
• Manage receipts alongside the OTB availability, ensuring class is not overbought and collaborating with planning/buying when shifting orders/receipts.
• Manage DTC flags and shipping restrictions.
• GTIN management.
• QA problematic SKUs based on customer feedback; correct inventory issues with sites and track status in QA.
• Work with web ops to address/correct customer facing product info to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in corrections and adjustments to invoices with Accounts Payable.
• Work with Buying, Planning and Allocation teams toward common goals for the merchandise area.
