Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Operations Specialist to support daily operations in the buying area and ensure timely delivery of merchandise through vendor and DC communications. The role focuses on Drop Ship, owning related tasks and business needs.

The Specialist will coordinate with Planning and Allocation teams, manage shipments, and maintain accuracy of product information on the website, while supporting reconciliation with Accounts Payable and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Analytical with ability to understand how multiple systems interact.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace.
• Detail oriented with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• PO entry and revisions.
• Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through tracking receipts.
• SKU maintenance and backorder/pre-order management.
• DC communication and follow-up with planning and allocation teams.
• Manage RTVs, retickets, price changes in coordination with planning and buying teams.
• Oversee DSCO/Rithum drop ship processes and status updates.
