Job summary

Axon seeks a remote Deployment Specialist to support end-to-end drone deployments from Puerto Rico, traveling up to 50% across LATAM and the Caribbean. You will lead pre-deployment planning, hardware logistics, and post-sale enablement to ensure successful implementations.

The role requires 3–5 years in customer-facing roles, experience deploying hardware/software, and the ability to communicate with public safety agencies and executive teams. Travel and field readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in customer-facing roles (Professional Services, Field Engineering, Deployment).
• Direct experience deploying hardware/software in complex environments.
• Understanding of drone systems, airspace management, RF sensing, or UAS programs.
• Familiar with IP networking, SNMP, DHCP, PoE, Linux CLI.
• Ability to present technical workflows to executives and teams.
• Experience with public safety agencies.
• Strong project and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployments as primary post-sale contact.
• Deliver role-based training to customer drone teams and IT.
• Guide customers in creating operational policies and workflows.
• Coordinate third-party training and integration vendors.
• Conduct site assessments for hardware placement.
• Develop deployment documentation and SOPs.
• Provide post-deployment monitoring and escalation.
• Capture customer feature requests to Product/Engineering.
• Attend strategic customer meetings with Sales.
• Lead or assist in POCs and RFP/RFI responses.
• Draft or validate SOWs based on scope.
