Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking professional truck drivers for a role delivering freight across the region.

The position offers guaranteed pay of $249 per day with first shift hours and home every night and weekend, aligning with family time and a stable schedule. Responsibilities include securing loads (no tarping), delivering freight on time, handling customer returns, DOT inspections, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record required.
• Ability to secure loads and operate in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Secure loads and deliver freight safely.
• Handle customer product returns when required and manage POD paperwork.
• Interact professionally with customers and report issues.
• Complete daily safety checks and DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logs and trip reports.

What You'll Deliver:

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required

How You'll Deliver:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 21 years of age
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years
• Safe Driving Record
• Ability to secure loads
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
